Star Steppers is a Performing Arts School based in Surrey, for children aged 3 - 16 years. How would you like to be a pony's best friend? Or have your pony feel you are the best human in the world? Come and spend the afternoon with our ponies at The Pony Academy and find out what makes them tick, why they do what they do and how to be safe and happy around them. We play games with the ponies learning how to behave when we are with them and how to handle them, from the ground and on their backs.

We meet on Tuesday afternoons, 4pm to 6pm, during term time at The Pony Academy on Green Lane, Ockham, GU23 6PQ. Please call ahead to book yourself in.

Cost: £25 a session, £120 for six sessions (to tie in with school terms) if paid in advance.

Croydon Communicators is a local club in Croydon where you can develop public speaking confidence in a supportive learning environment.

We meet in central Croydon to develop our communication, leadership and presentation skills. It's a great way to overcome fear of public speaking and to develop confidence, as well as to meet new people and enjoy a social and educational evening.

The JK Dance Academy, founded in 2003, is one of the leading dance schools in London. It runs classes throughout the week in the Woolwich, Croydon and Greenwich areas, in-school workshops for Primary and Secondary schools in the Greenwich, Croydon and Southwark boroughs, and holiday workshops every summer.

The JK Academy teaches children (age 3 – 17yrs) and adults (18 yrs upwards) the disciplines of modern, street, stage, and freestyle dance – fusing all the genres together to give an eclectic and well-rounded knowledge of dance to its pupils.

Singing into your hairbrush can soon be a thing of the past, as Popchoir is coming to Croydon from Monday January 4th. Rehearsals are at St Mildred's Centre (2 mins walk from Addiscombe tram stop) from 8.00 - 9.30pm and it's easy to join; There's no audition and no need to be able to read music - all you need is enthusiasm and commitment.

We are a chamber choir of 40+ members led by Janet Haney. Rehearsals at St Mark's Church West Wickham on Monday evenings 8.00 to 10.00 pm. New members are welcome in all parts. No auditions although we do expect singers to be able to hold a tune. Learning CDs are made available.

Croydon Scouting offers quality Scouting within the entire Borough of Croydon. We currently have a membership of around 3000 members and undoubtly have a local Group or Explorer Unit near you.
