Number 31 has a defunct shop front, which is not surprising considering it is quite a way from the centre of the village along a narrow pavement and the traffic is pretty relentless. There were sandbags in front of the door of number 29 suggesting that the road sometimes floods here. On the right is the wall of Cromwell House.
