Rotaract is an organisation for 18-30 year olds with clubs throughout the world. It enables members to meet people, try new activities, and make a difference in their local community.

The Samurai Fitness Group prides itself on its friendly, open and safe classes which include ‘Little Samurai’ a class solely for children aged from 4 to 6 and Young Samurai for children aged between 7 and 12.

Limited Little Samurai places are available at The Community Centre on the Broom Farm estate on Saturdays from 11am to 11:45am. There are also a few places available in the Young Samurai classes at the same location on Saturday from 11:45am to 12:30pm.

The Samurai Fitness Group’s Chief Instructor (Matthew Collins) has over 12 years of martial arts experience with a black belt in Judo, Tae Kwon-do and Kickboxing. He has both academic teaching experience in the U.K and Japan and is certified in Child Protection and First Aid, is CRB checked and has public liability insurance. He also runs before and after school Little Samurai and Young Samurai classes in 7 local schools.

We are a new group currently of 6 players, we need some new blood to spice up our games.

We play every Sunday 11am - 1pm, at Spelthorne Leisure Centre.

We use feather Shuttles and the cost per person is £3.00.

All levels of badminton player welcome even complete beginners.

Habib ‘Paps’ Ullah died on Thursday 3rd July 2008 during a stop and search by Police Officers on a vehicle in a car park in High Wycombe at approximately 7.15pm. He was 39 years old and leaves behind a young family.

We are concerned how a man can die in the process of being arrested and how he came to have breathing difficulties. There is an Independent Police Complaints Commission investigation taking place into his death.

Hillingdon's Foremost Theatre Group

Over the years Argosy has become recognised as one of the London Borough of Hillingdon's foremost Amateur Theatre Companies, the group has successfully presented numerous productions to audiences throughout the area.

Argosy's talents have been successfully applied to many aspects of Theatre including Musicals, Comedies, Thrillers, Tragedy, and Pantomime.

Their main venue, at present, is the Compass Theatre in Ickenham which has proven very popular with audiences, and the annual pantomime is performed at the Winston Churchill Hall in Ruislip with its larger audience capacity.

Argosy are a friendly and informal group that has as their underlying principle to always give the best possible performances for their audiences. This is achieved by hard work throughout rehearsals in a casual atmosphere under the guidance of a director, supported by the committee and other club members.

High Notes is an exciting live music group for babies to under 5’s. Now in its' 10th year, these interactive sessions provide a gentle, fun introduction to live music using classical, original & contemporary tunes;action songs,colourful props and instruments. Led by a qualified musician, the tunes range from Mozart to Disney with many songs written especially for High Notes. There are 2 age groups: 5 months - 2 years; and 2 years - under 5's. The Club meets every Wednesday evening at Teddington Pool, Vicarage Road from 8.30 - 10pm. We carry out diver training and have an active scuba diving programme,visiting sites in the UK and abroad. If you are over 14, can swim and are in good health you are eligible to join.
