A simple halt on this single track section of the Huddersfield - Sheffield line. The 1622 from Huddersfield is arriving to take your geographer home for tea.

The line from Huddersfield to Penistone and Sheffield is delightfully old-fashioned, with frequent stations, although not much in the way of buildings. Honley Station does have an entrance through a small building. It is used by pupils at the nearby secondary school.

Dist:0.4km<br/>These are back-to back houses, but very deep, from front to back; the house on the left has light from the side windows, but the next house does not. The end wall used to have a painted advertisement. The next block has 'weaver's windows' to the first and second floor, which were therefore probably workshops.
