The website www.lostheritage.org.uk has pictures of the hall in its heyday. The house in the background is Honington House on the road to Sleaford.

Dist:0.3km<br/>A hidden gem tucked away behind the former vicarage and approached through the garden. A fine Norman nave and Early English chancel and tower, fine furnishings and Monuments to the Hussey family.

Dist:0.3km<br/>The undulating sheep pasture is the site of the Victorian mansion Honington Hall, demolished in the 1940s. The view is looking south east from the footpath behind the church, across the site towards the 1960s housing of Hall Close.

Dist:0.4km<br/>The level crossing is on the main Lincoln road. It used to be controlled from an adjacent signal box which was situated on the right hand side of the picture, opposite the station house. The signal box was demolished in 1984, the station house remains as a private residence.
