Dist:0.4km<br/>Grange Lane had become a bit of a race track for vehicles of all sorts and I guess the authorities felt it was an accident waiting to happen. By August 2007, the road was closed at the south end of the bridge. A bit of personal history; at the end of that month, my wife was found in the nearby canal, so it marks a sad time for me and my family.
