These concrete "steps" down to the beach at Paignton shine in the sunlight. Some days are perfect for photography or painting and this is one of them. Is it right to call these "steps" as they are so very long. Is it only on beaches that we encounter this type of terracing? Sports stadia come to mind. There is a hotel in the far distance.
