Three different cultivations are on offer here; older apple trees in the foreground, some strawberry tunnels in the dip and younger fruit trees on the far slope. In the centre distance are the hills around Ledbury, and beyond, to the right, are the Malvern Hills.

Dist:0.7km<br/>Field on a fruit farm viewed from the road passing by to the south. I have been informed the windmill in the distance to the right is an electricity generating windmill that was erected in 1924 and ran until 1956. It drove a 1 kW dynamo for battery charging and had patented sails that folded vertically along the centre line under the control of a weight loaded striking rod. The designer was one Mr E Lancaster Burne and it was built by English Brothers Ltd of Wisbech.
