Dist:0.3km<br/>"Maaam, someone's coming". Well, in a minute or two, perhaps. This is where you get to if you follow the footpath described in [[716746]]. On the right is the edge of the bank of the C2 BC settlement described at http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/4911/castle_gotha_settlement.html , so the encumbrance between me and the lamb is on the line of footpath 413/6/1. A damaged kissing gate, with exposed ends of metal, has been attached to another gate with a chain and twine, and the gate has barbed wire to contend with. This is classified as a "silver" path by Cornwall County Council, which means it calls for "medium term action". Still, it's easier to follow than some of the "bronze" paths in the county.

Dist:0.4km<br/>Both lanes are dead-ends, in fact. Straight on leads to Trevissick; left for Trenarren, the car park at Ropehaven Cliffs, and the coast path around Black Head. A small square of woodland occupies the angle between the lanes.

Dist:0.7km<br/>This is the breeding ground for most of the plants at the world-famous Eden Project. It was here that plants were propagated and grown in readiness for the initial planting at Eden and it continues as a base for producing new planting and for rearing plants for sale in the Eden shop.
