Construction of one of the service roads onto the new campus at the university. Work has actually stopped whilst a new contractor is found after the previous one went into liquidation.

Construction of the main service road onto the new university campus was well underway until the contractor went bankrupt. Construction work on the campus is on hold as new contractors are appointed. In the distance the new Goodricke college can be seen, with its first occupants having moved in last October.

This tree stands over the lake near Derwent College.

This small area tucked inside Derwent College has been turned into a garden in memory of Ron Weir, Provost of the college for nearly 30 years.

In the centre of Derwent college, the area has been tidied up and a garden created for the late provost of Derwent College, Ron Weir. The plaque reads 'A garden for Ron Weir, Provost 1980-2009, created by students and alumni'.

Only in recent years have railings appeared. This bridge is also a weir on the other side. This bridge stands next to Langwith college.

The small bridge across the lake next to Langwith B block. The handrails were fitted in 2004. On the left side of the bridge is a weir, where the lake drops 3 feet.
