1st Beddau Scout Group provides fun activities for boys and girls aged 6 to 14 and a half, in three age-related sections. We serve Beddau, Tynant and the surrounding areas.

We own our own Scout Hall which is located next to the community centre, just off Tynant Road.

Other community groups and members of the community are able to rent our hall for their own groups or functions such as parties.

Vella Taekwon-Do Academy was formed in 1990, and is based in Cardiff. Wales. The head instructor is Master Tony Vella, a 7th Degree Black Belt with the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF). He is an international instructor and grading examiner with all his grades and qualifications recognised by the ITF which has over 100 member countries. He has been training in Taekwon-Do since 1982 and has been graded beginner to senior Instructor by Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha 9th Degree, the founder of Taekwon-Do in the UK.
