This bar was built as an extension to the Lounge Cinema a few years ago. The cinema has now closed. Looking north across North Lane.

This was one of the few remaining independent cinemas until it closed in January 2005. Its sister, the Cottage Road Cinema, continues to operate.

Looking north towards the traffic lights at the junction with North Lane and Wood Lane. The tall office block is part of the Arndale Centre.
