Dist:0.2km<br/>The postbox was originally a little way west of here, outside the post office, but was relocated here some time after the post office closed on 10 October 1997 after serving the community for 140 years. The box is now located, conveniently for those posting and collecting, in a lay-by just outside the village and is emptied daily at 3:45pm on weekdays and at 10:15am on Saturdays.
