Dist:0.2km<br/>Not sure what this complex is - I assume some sort of industry rather than the farm which was here. So with the aid of the internet I discover it is a clothing design company, Mulberry.

Alex Gray informed by Email 28 Apr 06 "With reference to the above pic, it is Mulberry, the expensive hangbag people's main factory. They used to be based at the bottom of Bowden Hill, about 0.5 miles from the war memorial, moving to the larger premises a few years ago. Hope this helps!"

Dist:0.3km<br/>Near the end of Thickthorn Lane about to venture down Lynch Hill into Chilcompton. After that the A367 is reached at White Post then Kilmersdon.
Old Down is a short way behind.

Dist:0.7km<br/>It is hard to discern with your eyes but even more in the photo but the slight bump in the foreground of this field is a tumulus. The farm buildings give more definition.

Dist:0.7km<br/>Now you railway lovers, prepare to shed a tear for all that remains of the Slow and Dirty as it was affectionately called.
Running from Bath Green Park it went south through Midford, Wellow, Radstock, Midsomer Norton, such wonderful names, passing here before continuing to Shepton Mallet eventually arriving at Weymouth.
Rails and trackbed have long gone from this short stretch but it remains fenced off to allay its spirit.
