<br/>I noticed the sub-station because it was labelled with an 8 figure grid reference, then thought an ivy covered red brick building was an appropriate building for its surroundings in Harrow School.

Although its spire is not quite as high as that of the Parish Church, because it is on the edge of the hill it is more prominent, and is visible from several miles' distance to the south-east.

Dist:0.3km north<br/>The School was founded in 1572 under a Royal Charter granted by Elizabeth I to John Lyon, a local farmer. A scholar wearing a top hat can just be seen in the doorway.
