Dist:0.5km<br/>Wrapped up warm it was a lovely afternoon for a walk. The bridleway swings right towards Alt Common. The footpath to Little Mountain goes straight ahead at the gate.

Dist:0.5km<br/>The isolated church at Hardwicke, seen across icy fields. It was cold, and we were pleased to get back to the cars parked at the church.

Dist:0.7km<br/>Near the bottom of a quite treacherous icy lane. It would have been nice to walk back along the disused railway line, which took a route through here. The barn is probably built on the line. But the route is not a public footpath.

Dist:0.9km<br/>On access land on the north side of the hill. The sun was setting and it was getting quite dark by this stage of our short walk. But we still had to descend an icy lane.
