Dist:0.3km<br/>The Duke of Newcastle (or his missus) was obviously keen not to have his estate disfigured by ugly cheapo cottages and dwellings that were tied to the employment of the inhabitants. Instead these rather handsome villas were built early in the twentieth century and are a pleasant positive benefit to the appearance of the estate.
