Behind are skips for wood, cardboard, and garden waste, conveniently sited so cars can drive up behind them. There is a container for oil in the photo. Next to it is one for paint and similar liquids - that is what I was dumping. Others are for paper, fabrics, shoes, metals, electronics, refrigerators, batteries, printer cartridges, video tapes, plastics . . .a really big effort is going into separating and recycling in the London Borough of Ealing.
