A long distance footpath that links Eastbourne, Pevensey, Battle, Hastings and Rye. This section runs from Eastbourne to Hankham and Rickney before the walker has a choice directions to either Pevensey or Herstmonceux and Battle. The trees on the right obscure the remains of an old flint barn.

Dist:0.3km<br/>Located on Milton Street a small lane that runs south from Hankham Road to Hailsham Road, the B2104. The 1910 OS map has the current name down for the cottages whilst the 1899 one has them as Hunt's Cottages. The bigger building beyond is Victoria Villa.
