Grange Hill Homepage

The Three Forests Way is a 96 kilometre or 60 mile Long Distance Walk, the three forests in question and linked together being Hatfield, Hainault and Epping, although only about 13 kilometres or 8 miles of the path are actually through them. This is one of the many open agricultural sections, heading from Chigwell Row towards Chigwell.

They are not shown on the 1969-1970 edition of the Ordnance Survey 1:10,560 scale mapping but are shown on the 1970-1971 1:2,500 scale edition. The reservoir has a diameter of about 100 metres.

Dist:0.9km<br/>The northern end of Manford Way terminates here, at the junction with the B193 Manor Road, with a triangular traffic island dominated by the two large London Plane trees. The bus is on Service Number 362 at its Grange Hill Station terminus and is shortly to depart for the King George Hospital via Hainault and Chadwell Heath.
