In 1980 London celebrated 50 years of Greenline coach operations. The LT Drama Club took part at Golders Green bus station, dressing in appropriate 1930's costumes and parking up at the Greenline Coach stop. Unfortunately, Greenline Routemasters (including the preserved RMC4) were probably busy elsewhere on the day so the 1st production Routemaster, RM5, was used instead.

Taking part in the Greenline 50th Celebrations at Golders Green bus station in 1980 is a rear engined Leyland cub of 1939 vintage. These vehicles saw brief service with London Transport, the country ones being allocated to Windsor garage. Behind is an RF, a type that saw extensive service as buses and Greenline Coaches. Sculpture by the Hampstead artist Patricia Finch (1921-2001). One of the flip-flops was stolen in 2003, requiring a new pair to be cast (Hendon Times). The metal is polished in places by the young children who like to sit on the girl's lap.
