This training session will be delivered by Geof Cox, who is a specialist in issues concerning the start or expansion of trading activities by third sector organisations. A number of organisations which run gardening services with support from Greenfingers Leeds have asked for further support on this issue, which is why we have invited Geof to run this session. Topics covered will include: Issues to consider when a charity wishes to get involved in trading The risks involved in setting up a social enterprise Overview of issues for charities with regards to trading Key legal issues to consider for setting up a social enterprise/trading subsidiary We are running this training primarily for organisations delivering gardening services, but we would also welcome: People from other organisations supported by Keeping House People from third sector organisations interested in setting up social enterprises to deliver domestic services to older people and disabled people in Leeds Please book onto the course by clicking on the Register now link above.
