Dist:0.6km<br/>Until quite recently this used to be an abandoned railway. However, it has now been converted into a paved cycle path, part of the National Cycle Route network, route 47.

Dist:1.0km north<br/>Studying old maps reveals that this road was once part of the network of small roads that interconnected local farms. This stretch between two farms on the road is no longer maintained as access to the farms on either side is easier from the opposite end of the road. Technically the road is still passable but these days only 4x4 vehicles should probably attempt it!

Dist:1.4km southwest<br/>The junction could be described as a crossroad, but with the roads going off at rather strange oblique angles! The end of the Gower peninsula can be seen in the distance. The Vikings described some of the Gower's geographic features as sea monsters - from this angle it could easily be misinterpreted as a crocodile of terrifyingly large proportions!
