Dist:0.2km<br/>Located on the SW side of the unnamed main road through the centre of the village. A plaque at the entrance records that "This Church was opened by His Grace the Archbishop of Cardiff Most Rev. John Murphy 9 Feb. 1972" The church closed down in early 2011. The parish council would like the church building to be maintained as a community asset, possibly conversion to a community centre.

Dist:0.2km<br/>The photograph shows the motte of Ewyas Harold castle. Quoting from the excellent leaflet available from the bungalow next to the castle: "1048 Osborn Pentecost built the first castle of wood. Norman favourites were then allowed into the country by Edward the Confessor. They used the same site to construct a motte and bailey fortification. It was one of the first castles to be built to a Norman design before the Conquest."
