Dist:0.2km north<br/>Other dovecotes existing in the village are attached to specific farms or houses, but this one stands on its own. The dentil eaves, and the matching string course, are typical of Nottinghamshire brickwork. Listed grade II.

Dist:0.2km north<br/>There are in fact two former chapels on Chapel Lane. This is the later of the pair, built in 1851by the Primitive Methodists, as shown on the inscribed stone by the front door. It seems likely that this stone was moved from the gable end, where new brickwork can be seen, when the chapel was converted to a house.
