This set is on Eltham Hill, opposite the church, and as of 2011 included a hairdresser, charity shop, three takeaways, and what looks like a pub closed for refurbishment.

Dist:0.1km<br/>This is the historic Anglican parish church of Eltham. As with many other town centre churches, a new building was erected in Victorian times on the site of earlier structures. This one dates from 1875 and was by Sir Arthur Blomfield. It is listed grade 2 (List Entry Number 1219811). The tower seen here includes a clock and bells. Compare [[2295917]] to see what a difference direct sunshine makes to the appearance of the Kentish ragstone.
