Dist:0.4km<br/>A "twin" for Thingley Bridge Farm on the other side of the stream. The farmhouse at Thingley Cottage Farm was sold, has been tastefully refurbished and, apparently, extended. It is now called Thingley Bridge Cottage. The farm buildings are still there and seem to be in use. Thanks to Paul Thatcher and a gentleman I met on site for the information.

Dist:0.8km<br/>This First Great Western HST has just cleared Thingley Bridge on its way east to Paddington. Thingley Junction, where the single track line from Melksham comes in is about 300 yards beyond the next bridge.

Dist:0.9km<br/>A First Great Western HST has just passed the road bridge south of Thingley Junction and is heading west to Bath and Bristol. The track to the right is part of the railway maintenance yard on the other side of the bridge.
