Dist:0.0km north<br/>This is the "hub" of the District Line. There are several branches to it, but they all meet here. The railway runs underground here, but quite close to the surface.

Dist:0.0km north<br/>Earl's Court Road entrance. This station was built before the formation of London Underground, hence the now defunct names of the railways on the sign. Other points to note : the Internet Cafe signboard is being held by a person, whose job it is to do nothing else but stand there and display the advertisement. These jobs are very common in London. There is also a Police Box across the road, near the roadworks -- not a common sight these days!

Dist:0.1km north<br/>This must be a new installation as I can only ever remember there being one police box nearby in Fulham Road, and that was still there in the late '70s. This one deems it big enough to have a no-smoking' sticker posted on the doors. In Earls Court Road outside the underground station.
