Dist:0.5km north<br/>Goddards is the regional HQ of the National Trust. The photo shows the gatehouse, with the main building part visible through the archway. The house is in an attractive Tudor style and was built for Noel Terry of Terry's chocolates in 1926-7.

Dist:0.5km north<br/>Originally a farmhouse in a country village, but now swallowed up in York's suburbs. The house dates back to the 17th and 18th centuries and is of local brick.
