Dist:0.2km<br/>Another attempt to find the eastern lime kilns at Dolyhir, to the right is a footpath leading to the quarry. The road here goes over a bridge that spans the Gilwern Brook, least I think that's the name, which runs to the Dolyhir bridge joining with another brook round there.

Dist:0.3km<br/>Tree line running down to Gilwern brook with the footpath heading off alongside towards the quarry.

Dist:0.3km<br/>An old tree which has fallen across the Gilwern partly blocking off the brook, two of the branches are now growing straight up forming new trees while the trunk forms a natural bridge.
