BigSpirituality Talks at MMU - Autumn Season
Starting on 25th September, BigSpirituality talks return to MMU for the Autumn Season. Fortnightly on Tuesdays from 7pm to 8.45pm at Room 335, Geoffrey Manton Building, Oxford Road (opposite Aquatics Centre). £3 on the door - all welcome. BigSpirituality Talks are run on a not-for-profit basis to create a platform for local interest.

Gilbert & Sullivan Society, Manchester
Do you enjoy Gilbert & Sullivan? Want to learn more about the operas and their authors? We are a non-performing appreciation society, interested in the joint stage works of W S Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan. We meet each month from October to May at a modern venue in central Manchester. Our friendly group of members enjoys a variety of entertainment connected with the operas. Meetings range from recitals by both professional and amateur singers and choirs, to talks about the operas or anything connected with them. Why not come to one of meetings? Farnworth Little Theatre
Who we are - Established in 1948, Farnworth Little Theatre is an amateur theatre group. Our first full length play ‘Night Must Fall’, was presented in 1949, and since then we have offered a continuous programme of up to five full length productions a year.
We are totally self-supporting, financing the running and upkeep of the theatre through box office takings, membership fees, charitable donations and regular fund-raising events. The theatre is run by volunteers and therefore offers many opportunities for people of all ages to get involved in a range of activities, from acting to wardrobe, lighting and sound to publicity and set-building.
We also have a Youth Group for members aged 11 - 18.
