Dist:0.1km north<br/>Overflow channel at the southeast corner of the Lower Reservoir at Chellow Dean. The Upper and Lower Reservoirs were built in 1845 and 1860 respectively to supply water to the city of Bradford. They were drained after failing to meet safety standards laid down by the Reservoirs Act 1975 and restoration was finally completed in 1992, although they are no longer used to supply drinking water.

Dist:0.3km north<br/>The two Victorian reservoirs lie within a deep wooded valley. This is an SSSI where the wildlife includes herons, tawny owls and woodpeckers. The reservoirs are no longer in use as a water supply.
