This bus shelter at the University of Bath was under construction for many months, which probably makes it one of the most expensive in the country. The wall and staircase behind it were new in 2010.

Dist:0.3km<br/>A clever design feature is the fact that this pedestrian precinct is suspended above the service roads underneath. To the right is the library, left is the Union, and the tower behind is one of the twin residential blocks that make the building distinctively 1960's in design.

Dist:0.3km<br/>This nice four column engine was built for an exhibition and was latterly displayed al fresco at the maker's works. It is now indoors at the bottom of a stairwell in Bath University. Position is approximate. Security don't mind pointing you in the right direction. This shot is off the staircase itself. Compressed air is laid on to within about 3 foot and there is a coupling on the engine but I've never seen the link established.
