At 511ft this is the highest level on the Birmingham Canal Navigations. The bridge carries the main Birmingham to Wolverhampton dual carriageway.

Dist:0.9km east<br/>I'm pretty sure I've nailed the location with the satellite. There used to be 4 tall silos clearly visible from the M5. There are only two here and now there are none. Coming south I always used to feel I was really near home when I saw these just after Chance's glassworks.

This pump house was built to help to alleviate the problem. It is now the headquarters of the Birmingham Canal Navigations Society.
