Taken in the northern part of the park close to Gloucester Gate, there is still a covering of snow from two days previously but it is beginning to melt. This has not deterred a small group of schoolboys from building some sort of snow sculpture - a recumbent snowman, perhaps.

Dist:0.2km north<br/>Until a few hundred years ago, the wolf ranged over Britain as a wild animal; there have been suggestions that it could perhaps be re-introduced in such wild areas as the mountains of Scotland and Wales, or perhaps part of the Pennines. There is a good case to be made for the thesis that the ecology of an area benefits from the presence of a top predator such as the wolf.

Dist:0.2km north<br/>The canal carried on around the outskirts of Regent's Park in the direction of where the red building is (A Chinese restaurant I think), instead it takes a sharp left turn and carries on to Camden Town instead. This is Cumberland Turn and Cumberland Basin was filled in during WWII, but a bridge still remains near to Gloucester Gate see [[[874298]]].
