Cadoxton Juxta Neath Homepage


Viewed across Church Road from the edge of the War Memorial. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2378472 A small number of graves are on this side of the church. Many more are in the large graveyard on the far side of the church. The name of the village (literally Cadoc's Town) is derived from the English version of Catwg, a Welsh saint (born c497, died 580). The village's longer name, Cadoxton-juxta-Neath, is used when distinguishing it from Cadoxton, near Barry, in the Vale of Glamorgan.
