Dist:0.6km east<br/>This is the church of St Clydey. At several of the Anglican churches (Yr Eglwys yng Nghymru) in this area we find a stile immediately beside the gates. Why? Was there a tradition that the gates were only opened for special occasions such as weddings and funerals?

Dist:1.9km west-southwest<br/>Looking up towards the peak of the Frenni Fach from the foot of it on the Tegryn side, taken in the morning. When I first knew this place it was not riddled with tracks and paths as it is now, there were just a few rough footpaths made by people and the cattle which used to graze the Frenni many years ago. I know this because I was the cowherd who used to watch those cattle from the peak!
