Dist:0.4km<br/>The shrouds of a 20’ diameter waterwheel survived by the side of the watermill – the building beyond the cottage – in 1999. Both mill and cottage have since been on the market and are private property. The wheel is unlikely to work again as the leat which powered it has been severed.

Against apparently overwhelming odds of almost 2:1 the Royalists defeated the Parliamentarians, securing Cornwall, with its tin mines and ports, for the Royalist cause.
