Dist:0.8km<br/>The unploughed area in the field is the site of a long barrow that has been almost completely destroyed by ploughing in the past. Up until the 1960s it had a large elm tree growing on it - hence the name. It is alongside the A362 road on Buckland Down; stones from the chambered tomb were broken up and used when the road was metalled in the 18th century.
