Dist:0.1km<br/>Standing tall in the middle of a roundabout where the A4124 Pelsall Road and High Street A452 intersect in Brownhills, the sculpture was made by artist John McKenna. The sculpture commemorates the miners who worked in the town across the three centuries before the last Brownhills pit closed. It was erected in 2006.

Dist:0.2km<br/>The clock was made by WF Evans and Sons of Handsworth in 1911 and was paid for by the residue of public funds collected to celebrate the coronation of King George V. The clock was restored to working order in 2006. The building is now a library and health centre.

Dist:0.2km<br/>The Council House was built in 1882 and became the home of Brownhills Urban District Council which was formed in 1894. The clock has been above the building since 1911 and in 2006 it was restored to its former glory – costing £15,000. The building spent many years boarded-up but is now a new state-of-the-art library and health centre.

Dist:0.2km<br/>The building dates from 1893 and was designed for 210 pupils and 120 infants. It became a boys school in 1932 and closed in 1980. Forms an interesting group of buildings with the old Council House. Both were derelict for a number of years.
