Dist:0.3km<br/>The administrative centre of Malvern Chase stood on the raised land above the sheep. Built by king John between 1207 and 1212. John loved Worcestershire; he came here to hunt in 1209 and 1213 and is buried in Worcester cathedral [[486814]]. After the Wars of the Roses Henry VII deliberately let it fall into decay.
