This short stump of the Wey and Arun Canal from its junction with the Godalming Navigation is used as mooring for boats, the remainder having been abandoned many years ago.

Dist:0.1km<br/>The original railway bridge was removed after the closure of the Guildford-Horsham branch line. The pedestrian bridge was added in July 2006 which now links the two sides of the disused track, between the A248 and A281. Photo taken during rare snowy weather.

Dist:0.1km<br/>The bridge carried the Guildford to Horsham railway over the River Wey at Peasmarsh. Being made of steel it was removed for scrap after the line closed in 1965. The Downs Link cycle route has now been completed on both sides of the river - all it needs now is a bridge to cross it by! One is proposed but sadly it has not even got as far as the design stage.

Dist:0.1km<br/>The Downs Link bridleway connects the North and South Downs Ways. This bridge carries a spur to the Downs Link over the River Wey. It was originally a railway bridge on the Guildford - Horsham line, which closed in 1965. The railway steelwork was removed and sold for scrap, so a new span had to be constructed for its current use. (Also see [[48515]] & [[945237]] .)
