The White Hart dates to 1480 and was a coaching inn on the London-Ipswich route. The ground floor was originally stabling and in the mid-1700s they ran their own coach service to London. In Victorian times the old wooden medieval building was faced with concrete and bricks and a new floor added.

This 'installation' is situated at west end of the High Street by Kings Road. It is marked '2004' but other than that its purpose or meaning is a mystery!

Built in 1883, this church is a Grade II* listed building. The name of the church reflects the long association between the town and St. Thomas a Becket.

This old fire station is located in Hart Street and is now a barber's shop (called "The Headquarters"!). I have been unable to discover when this station was in operation.
