Dist:0.4km<br/>The dip slope of the limestone ridge that continues from Wenlock Edge. The reentrant with the oak is the start of the Duxmoor Dingle. This high the valley would be like the bournes of Southern England, dry except after prolonged heavy rain. The Silurian limestone here is soft and behaves like chalk, providing similar scenery.
