Dist:0.4km<br/>An attractive village pub on Day's Lane in the centre of the village. It was built in the 17th century but extended in the 19th century. The pub was originally next door and the present pub was a private dwelling.

Dist:0.5km<br/>A view of the church from Middle Common. St Peter’s Church was built in 1856 by Mr Miller of Seagry. It was designed in the Early English Style in squared rubble stone with ashlar dressings, a stone slate roof, coped gables and an ashlar gabled bellcote at the west end. There are lancet windows, shallow buttresses and a stone slated timber porch. The interior includes a four bay nave roof of 1906, and east window of 1861 and a south nave window of 1906. Its first vicar was the Reverend John Jeremiah Daniells.

Dist:0.6km<br/>This minor road begins a few yards behind the camera, heads west, changes its name three times and ends at the A429 where it is called Plough Lane. The building on the left appears to be an old barn which has been converted to a modern dwelling.

Dist:0.6km<br/>The Great House was built in the late 17th century and was extended in 1910. The house was reportedly owned by the Coleman family (William Coleman died 1738) from c.1700, the Lord of the Manor whose family later moved to the Manor House. The Great House became a farmhouse until restored by Charles Garnett in 1907-10 and is now a Leonard Cheshire Foundation home. It was supposedly at one time a weaver’s factory.
