<br/>Sitting back from East End Road, next to Nazareth House. I believe this was originally Knighton Villa. The Poor Sisters of Nazareth purchased the villa and moved here from Chiswick in 1921 to found their convent and care home. Please see [[121986]] for further details. It is currently a home for blind and disabled Jewish people.

Dist:0.1km north<br/>The Poor Sisters of Nazareth purchased Knightons villa and moved here from Chiswick in 1921. They provided care for children and the elderly. The last children left in 1974. Currently residential care is provided for the elderly and mass is held daily in the Chapel. The current care complex and chapel were completed in 1982. Dist:0.2km north<br/>Two posts stand either side of the current entrance to the church. They may be the last remnants of the fence that originally encircled the churchyard. The holes at the top of the post suggest that something was joined there but it seems an unlikely place to secure a gate hinge. Intriguingly, this gatepost has a Star of David carved on it.

Dist:0.2km north<br/>Designed by Anthony Salvin, who also designed Christ's College on Hendon Lane, Holy Trinity was consecrated in 1846. Originally the church consisted of a nave and chancel. North and south aisles were added in 1866 and 1883 respectively. This is a view of the current main entrance to the church seen from Church Lane. A footpath runs through the graveyard from this entrance to Trinity Avenue behind the church. The Holly hedges, which possibly replaced the original fence following complaints of flower theft from the graves (in 1912), have been invaded by Elder. The church is surrounded by trees, mainly Yew and Pine, making it a difficult location for wedding photographers.

Dist:0.2km north<br/>Taken from the minstrels gallery above the lounge area at the back of the church, the modern altar stands at the end of the nave, with the original altar beyond. The church was originally lit only by candles. The clerestory windows, visible on the upper left, were added in 1893 to give more light. Electric lighting was only provided in 1909. The organ, largely hidden by the walls behind the pulpit, was bought second hand from All Saints, Cheltenham, in 1887 and converted to electrical power in the 1920's.

Dist:0.2km north<br/>The font, originally located at the rear of the church, was donated in remembrance of Mrs. Golden. The interior of the church was extensively rebuilt in the 1980's and the font stands where the memorial chapel to the dead of WWI was located. The memorial chapel altar was removed at that time and all that now remains is the wooden plaque on the wall.

Dist:0.2km north<br/>Looking towards the rear of the church. The congregation enjoy a chat over coffee after the service in the lounge area. During a rebuild in the 1980's the Victorian pews were removed and replaced with chairs. The lounge area was originally used to store hymn books, etc. and as a changing area for the choir. The bell is rung by the cord hanging beside the left hand window at the back.
