Dist:0.5km<br/>Seen at around mid-day on a very frosty day. Work is currently in progress to clear trees and scrub alongside this path in order to create a wide ride with woodland margins. It is anticipated that this will create a greater wildlife diversity.

Dist:0.5km<br/>The sign on the gate advertises dog grooming services. I'm not sure if that is here, it seems unlikely. Otherwise there was no indication what goes on behind these gates. This is on a bridleway between Reskadinnick and Coombe.

Dist:0.5km<br/>The boardwalk carries the footpath across a marshy area around the stream. After a spell of very cold weather it is still covered with frost at mid-day.

Dist:0.7km<br/>We are only a few hundred metres away from the coastal cliffs to our left. But here there are extensive pastures in a combe dipping away from the coast.

Dist:0.7km<br/>This bridleway is a narrow sunken lane rising gradually in this direction. I'll bet it acts as a main watercourse when rains come.

Dist:0.8km<br/>In the foreground is an old shaft and behind it an incline. These were probably exploratory workings as there is no record of any mining in the immediate vicinity, On this occasion they are in use as a control site for a Cornwall Orineteering Club event: control 225 'rocky pit'.

Dist:0.9km<br/>Part of Tehidy Country Park, which is owned by Cornwall Council. There is a good network of wheelchair accessible paths around the park. Here there is still a heavy frost around mid-day, during a spell of unusually very cold weather.
