The French Game of Petanque, popularly known as Boules, is played right here in Solihull, at Blossomfield Sports Club, Widney Lane, Solihull, B91 3JY. Club sessions are Tuesday evening at 7.00 p.m (Summer months), Thursday afternoon at 2.00 p.m., Sunday morning at 10.00 a.m.. A game for all the family and all abilities. We are affiliated to the West Mids Petanque Region of the English Petanque Association.

The Club was formed in January 2007 and exists to encourage the development of members’ photographic skills in a friendly and sociable atmosphere. Anyone with any interest in digital photography is encouraged to join, whether they are owners of compact cameras or the latest DSLRs, computer owners or not.

The Club meets regularly and has a varied programme of activities including presentations, tutorials, practical events and social gatherings. Our main meeting venue is Webheath Village Hall, Heathfield Road, Redditch, Worcestershire.

Please note although we call them 'clubs', no membership or weekly commitment is required, so you can just book in for whatever Saturday suits you.

Climbing Club

The Climbing Club operates from our onsite climbing tower and runs every Saturday morning throughout the year except over the Christmas period. Individuals of any age from 7 upwards can book in for either of two time slots: 10am to 11:30 am or 11:30am to 1pm. These are very flexible Instructor led sessions that can include climbing, abseiling and bouldering/traversing to fit the needs of the group. As yet there is no Lead/Sport Climbing available on our tower.

Adventure Club

The Adventure Club runs every Saturday morning from May to September. Individuals of any age from 7 upwards can book in for whatever activity is running on that day e.g. windsurfing, sailing, canoeing, kayaking and archery. All activities are based at the centre.

Session Times: 10.00am to 12.30pm

Childrens dance classes from ages 3 and up. Freestyle, Rock n Roll, Ballroom, Latin, ballet. Examinations and competitive training available. Adult courses throughout the year.
Classes at Etching Hill Village Hall, Rugeley Leisure Centre and Armitage Village Hall. Please phone for timetable.

Pre school music class from 3 months to 5 years. Action songs and rhymes, musical games, music and movement and have fun with percussion. Our unique teaching curriculum was written by a classically trained musicisns, and introduces music to very young children in a way they can easily understand and enjoy.
