Dist:0.3km<br/>This isolated barn is visible from most of the south-eastern part of the square, and marked on both main scales of map. A t this point the footpath into the square from the east turns sharp right. Winter crops are just starting to show through in the field to the left (south).

Dist:0.3km<br/>This barn is shown at both main scales of mapping as one of those isolated buildings that is easy to identify. It does not appear to be used now as you can go in the archway to the left and go right through, although the roof is relatively new.

Dist:0.4km<br/>The houses on the horizon are part of a series of buildings making up Hay Place. A good footpath runs to the east around this recently ploughed field.

Dist:0.4km<br/>This is the extreme eastern part of the square, looking towards a barn featured on both main scales of map. It is flat arable land, with a winter crop growing here.

Dist:0.4km<br/>This well-made footpath in the eastern part of the square is popular with dog walkers. It is flanked by arable fields, the one one the left developing a promising crop.

Dist:0.5km<br/>This lane is designated as a footpath, but it also carries vehicular traffic as it is the route to Hay Place. The first house of the hamlet are just around the corner.

Dist:0.5km<br/>Who? Someone has had fun rearranging the letters on the dressage paddock. But the remaining letter was "F". Another brother or sister for Brooklyn and Romeo perhaps? The building behind is the village hall.
