Dist:0.1km<br/>This has certainly been altered over the years, and there are signs of blocked-up doorways and what looks like a first-floor window cill. On the right there is a massive door lintel with a very worn inscription. On the south side of Beckfoot Lane there is a steep-sided hill, covered by trees, that old maps show as having limestone boulder pits. It must be a glacial deposit, and the boulders would have been dug out to produce lime for use as a fertiliser.

Dist:0.2km<br/>Although so narrow, this is a stone-arched bridge; it would be difficult to get a good photograph of the arch, although I suppose one could stand in the middle of the stream. Strictly, this side of the bridge is in Harden. Beck Foot Mill is now residential property.
